Batson notes, “When I was making ‘I KNOW,’ I was originally trying to make something like ‘Somebody That I Used To Know.’ I told Tinashe Sibanda (one of the executive producers of the album), I want something dark but catchy. He started playing keys just messing around, he played two chords and I just said yep...we're going in a different direction- we both laughed and knew we had something special and it came out incredible.” Batson got great press for the release of his We Got Lost Along The Way EP, early supporters include MTV’s Buzzworthy, Complex, BET, Vibe and Pigeons & Planes.
